12-Week Challenge Discussion Board > Thoughts for Week No. 3

Reflect back over the last couple of weeks of you exercise, nutrition, behavior and your mindset. Identify one bad habit that was existing before you began this challenge that you are still struggling with.

Once you identify the unhealthy habits that most interfere with your success from shadows of your unconsciousness and into the light of awareness and vow to make a change, you will be able to move forward in a positive direction and solidify your success mindset.

Ask yourself, “What it was going to take to get to the level of health and happiness that I deserve?

When you break free from the chains of unhealthy behaviors, you will take a quantum leap forward in your success. But until you do, there's no end to the amount of time you can spend imprisoned, missing out on the full scale of what life has to offer you….better health, better fitness…a better life.

Just this one single step can change so many things.

When you become aware of your most unhealthy pattern of action, and vow to be freed from it and ask for help, you’re more than halfway there. And that's where I need you to be by the time you finish week three of this challenge.

Using your reflections page at the end of week three in your "Success Journal", write your plan of action on how you decide to overcome any unsupportive, unhealthy habits that may prevent you from reaching new levels of success in this challenge and beyond!

I think one of my biggest struggles has been having my kids snacks in the house. I've tried to overcome the temptation by buying them snacks that I really don't care to eat. I've also noticed that since I am eating 5 times a day, I don't have the sugar cravings like I did in the first week. When I see people at work eating a candy bar it doesn't bother me anymore. I have also started asking myself before I eat something , " Am I going to feel guilty after I eat this? Is it really worth it? " This has also helped me.
