Summer Fitness Finds
Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 2:26PM
I plan on being out doing some hiking this summer -- the goal is at least once a week -- and to psyche myself up, I'm going to treat myself to some helpful fitness goodies that will making hiking and being active in general much more fun. After all, a few fitness-related treats to reward myself for losing weight and being dedicated to being healthy is the kind of thing that keeps me motivated. (And it's better than ice cream as a reward, at least according to my thighs!)

Some extra-comfortable and breathable yoga-top shorts from Title Nine. They've got a great little store downtown on Tejon Street that any female athlete deserves to visit now and then.

The perfect size to carry a water bottle and your keys, just the essentials, from REI. Nice.

How great is this headband/sweatband from the womens-fitness company Athleta? And for less than $20, too.

As always, don't forget the sunscreen, your most important outdoor fitness tool in many ways. I like the Coppertone Sport, which doesn't melt and sting your eyes as you begin to sweat.
What's you favorite fitness product?
